Net Neutrality – Nothing to be Neutral About

The Internet is the last frontier of free speech, Net Neutrality will be the end of that.

The Internet is the last frontier of free speech, Net Neutrality will be the end of that.

Something happened the other day that most people probably didn’t take much notice of.   The FCC declared the internet a utility.
Did you feel the earth just rumble? No. Neither did I, didn’t expect it to either. At least not yet, and trust me that is part of the plan.
Net Neutrality could be the most misunderstood subject to come up in recent years. It sounds like something you want, neutral; take no sides, no winners, no losers. Treat all equally. Sounds great.

According to the ACLU Net Neutrality will protect us from those evil corporate capitalists looking to make a profit on providing us the services we like. In order to protect us, claims the ACLU, we need government intervention. What? Yes, the ACLU, wants the government to get involved to protect citizens who voluntarily purchase a service.
The ACLU fears that telecommunication giants will scrutinize our data and communications. So, to protect us the ACLU wants the government to control the internet. This is the same government that has already admitted to collecting all our data and communications under the guise of keeping us safe.  Continue reading

Can Washington be Fixed?

Can Washington be fixed?

Can Washington be fixed?

As I sit here days after Election Day I’m reviewing the races and turn out and results. I think about things I’ve done and roles I’ve played. I think back on the campaigns and candidates I’ve worked for, doors I’ve knocked on, calls I’ve made, letters I’ve written, people I’ve spoken with. All on behalf of candidates I felt strongly about. All on behalf of what I believed to be best for our country, state, county, and city. Naturally when I lost I was disappointed but oddly enough sometimes when I won I wound up being disappointed as well. The times I’ve won and been disappointed have always been on the federal level. What is a Law ?

What is a Law?

– by Michael Loeb

What is a Law? And what happens when we fail to enforce them?

We need to understand what is meant by the term ‘law’.

Handcuffs

Handcuffs - some in government need them

There are the scientific laws encompassing the way the universe interacts within itself. There is ‘Natural Law’ things that are determined by nature. Laws of Economics, Laws of Physics, The Ten Commandments, the laws given to Moses by God on Mount Sinai after the Jews left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land, many of which have become the basis for civil society. Thou shall not kill; thou shall not steal, etc. You know the rest. However, the laws I am talking are the rules which a civil society lives by and why an uncivilized society is considered lawless.  Continue reading

Look.. a Squirrel

Acorns are not enough for the Obama Squirrel

Keep your eye on the ball.  Don’t be distracted.

Masters of illusion use deception as their primary tool work their “magic”.  While you’re looking somewhere else, even for a second, the illusionist is able to pull a rabbit from his hat, a dove from his sleeve, or make his assistant disappear.  Add to this smoke and mirrors and you have magic.

Well, Obama is such an illusionist and he uses the mainstream media to create his deception.  To make you chase squirrels instead of paying attention to the man behind the curtain.

Movie Review: 2016

At the last SLC 9/12 Tea Party meeting Barry read us excerpts from an article written by Scott Paulson.  Mr. Paulson expressed his views about the movie “2016 Obama’s America”, which many of us have seen, and if you haven’t yet seen it you really should.

You can read the entire article written by Mr. Paulson, 2016 Obama’s America review, posted on several CBSLocal websites including CBS Boston and CBS Chicago.   It’s well worth your time and you may want to pass along this link to your friends.

As noted at the end of the article, Scott Paulson writes political news and commentary for CBS Local and Examiner.com and teaches English at a community college in the Chicago area.

“Burn in Hell” for singing “God Bless the USA”

I saw this video at WND  with article by Joe Kovacs and just had to add my two cents.

If I didn’t see the video below I wouldn’t have believed it.  Now singing “God Bless the USA”, by Lee Greenwood, is considered by some so horrible, so offensive that they stand by the side and scream “Burn in Hell” to school children.

If these “adults” are members of your political leaning all I can say is,

– Thank you for allowing America to see what your vision of patriotism; discipline; civility; respect; diversity; and freedom of speech; is really all about.  Thank you for showing your true selves. Continue reading

Unregistered Bake Sale Video

Thanks to Johnny Sweeny for his excellent reporting, camera work, and editing.

Thanks to all that supported the bake sale, and mostly to our youngest patriot entrepreneurs who made the operation work.  They raised $165 for the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

Obama vs Constitution

I'm here, we don't need this old thing anymore.

President Obama took the opportunity today to show America just how great of a constitutional scholar he really is.  He claimed that the individual mandate, the main point of contention sitting before the Supreme Court is constitutional.  His reasoning?  The healthcare bill  was passed by Congress.

That was it in a nutshell.

Obama received a law degree from Harvard in 1991.  John Harvard must be spinning in the grave.  In 375 years that might be the dumbest thing ever to come out of the mouth of a Harvard graduate. Continue reading

Counterfeit Voting – Voter Identification Laws Protect Your Civil Liberty

If there is anything I have learned over the years, it is that when the Federal Government says, does, or creates something, the opposite is usually true.

Here are some prime examples:I Voted Voted Voted

You can chart the rise and expansion of the Department of Education against the fall of test scores, and the rise of number of high school drop outs as indicators of the quality and effectiveness of education found in public schools.

You can chart the rise and expansion of the Department of Energy against the fall of our energy production and expansion of our dependence on foreign oil, regardless of what our current President might say. Continue reading
