Legislative Update

This month we have two powerful and important speakers who will talk about issues you’ll want to hear about. 2nd Amendment, Red Flag Laws, “Regulation Nation”

John Hallman – Legislative Affairs Consultant – Liberty First Network

John Hallman is an active, longtime voice in all levels of Florida politics and is a veteran of advocating issues in the Florida legislature.

While in Tallahassee, John has represented such groups as Florida Taxpayers Union, Cut Property Taxes Now, The Second Amendment Coalition of Florida, The Florida Campaign for Liberty and Liberty First Network. 

Besides his work in Tallahassee, John teaches activists training schools, is a frequent guest on radio talk shows and has written numerous articles promoting important policy issues. John Hallman has served as a campaign advisor for many candidates, including candidates for U.S. Congress, State House, State Senate and Governor.

Daniel Peterson – Property Rights  –                                      Coalition For Property Right, James Madison Institute

The Orlando-based Coalition for Property Rights established in 2001, is incorporated under JMI as the Institute’s new Center for Property Rights. .

As the director for the Center for Property Rights at The James Madison Institute, he oversees the efforts of securing the fundamental right to property for all Floridians.

Dan has been deeply involved in the central Florida business and political communities since 1999.

Previously, he worked in both the Florida Senate and the Florida House as a legislative assistant.
